“Head out on the highway, lookin’ for adventure”…Bikes and bikinis were out in force at Auto Moto Bikini 2009

Moscow has just played host to thousands of thundering, throbbing machines and hundreds of sizzling hot girls in bikinis at the salacious annual Auto-Moto Bikini 2009 festival. Bikers from across Russia rode a legion of metal monsters to the 18-acre showground as they came to witness over 150 mind bending beauties compete in a range of competitions.

Everywhere in sight there were Harley Davidson Fat Boys, Triumph TR6 Choppers, and Honda CBR 600RRs, most of them sporting bewitching Russian femmes riding shotgun. Auto-Moto Bikini 2009 welcomed over 5,000 fans of motorcycles with an overwhelming share of busty beauties in bikinis.

Just the sort of extravaganza you’d expect to find on the northern outskirts of Russia’s capital, the event has gained a certain level of notoriety with the Russian authorities. Not unlike the numerous Hells Angels gatherings held worldwide, there was an intensely decadent party-like atmosphere complete with eye-popping girls beginning with the first day’s carnival procession and bike convoy.

Ladies were teasingly dressed in costumes ranging from subtly suggestive 17th-century ball gowns and elegantly revealing dresses to the outrageous and provocative bikinis that the event is famous for.

Pavel Frolov, president of Russia’s Veterans Motorcycle Club who organized the adults only event, said “This year, to attract a wider audience, we selected universally popular entertainers: high-class circus artists, Michael Jackson’s twin, stuntmen and erotic dancers from the best Moscow strip clubs.”

Girls got the crowd really fired up with a seductive and erotic show

The Veterans MC Club is spawn of Russia’s Night Wolves MG, which is an original and popular motorbike enthusiasts’ brotherhood formed during Soviet times as a movement to support banned rock concerts, freedom, enduring peace, and Christianity.

In 2007, the Veterans MC Club was even visited by ‘70’s biking icon, Easy Rider director and star Dennis Hopper. The popularization and success of this club is reflected by the incredible growth of biking and motorcycle sales in the former-USSR which have doubled in recent years and seen the likes of Harley Davidson launch its first official showroom in Moscow.

The wild and free spirit of biking was out in force at the appropriately titled X-Land Park in Moscow Oblast, where Auto-Moto Bikini 2009 welcomed over 5,000 excited fans of motorcycles with an overwhelming share of busty beauties in bikinis.

The vivid and energetic occasion was headlined by a Michael Jackson Thriller tribute, boosted by performances from local and international artists, with a slew of rockin’ DJ’s everywhere on the grounds. The diverse crowd was wowed by a fire show, while the Russian Association of Stuntmen performed feats including daredevil leaps through flaming hoops and car races on two wheels.

Bikes and bikinis – what more can a man want?

But once the audience’s technical appetite had been satisfied by a display of custom-bike wizardry and craft, they were treated to the weekend’s real highlight. As evening fell, an erotic display of stripping and grinding was staged by a premiere selection of exotic dancers recruited from numerous Moscow gentlemen’s clubs. As temperatures rose, tempestuous delight became a fevered pitch for all red-blooded bikers in the audience to relish.

Contestants in bikinis also competed for the title of “Queen of the Ring”, which involved tantalizing water wrestling matches on stage. But the cherry-on-the-cake came as 150 bikini-clad models strutted and posed on stage before an ecstatic throng of stoked partiers in a bid for the title of “Miss Auto-Moto Bikini 2009” and a whopping $10,000 cash prize.

This colorful, fiery and passionate festival was rounded off with a spellbinding laser and fireworks display. The crowd went home thrilled by the extraordinary festival of bikes and bikinis. The great news is that it’s due to return next year.
