By Alexander Wildeve

Natasha Koroleva – the gorgeous jewel of Russia’s music scene
Stepping out confidently onto the large stage in a breathless moment of awe before an adoring Moscow crowd, perfect musical wildcat Natasha Koroleva has been in this situation many times. She even spent her 25th birthday performing in front of 350,000 fans in her home city of Kiev. Always amazed by the exhilaration of live music, she casts her sparkling blue eyes over an adoring audience in the vast stadium filled with excited children and bubbly adults. They all drink in the moment on the edge of a thrilling rendition of her smash hit ‘Diamonds of Tears’ (‘Brillianty Slez’).

Launching into the first song of the evening she fills the arena with her magnetic presence, delivering a pulsating disco routine alongside synchronized dancers, glammy backing singers and a first-class band. In the highest of heels and the shortest black dress, strobe lights and pyro, dry ice and electric atmosphere, Natasha Koroleva was destined to be the Ukrainian queen of pop.

Like a Russian Madonna or Kylie Minogue, Natasha Koroleva is an established Russian icon of fashion and music with her own Moscow beauty salon and a wealth of experience both on stage and screen.
Born Natalia Porivay to parents steeped in the tradition of choral music, it was natural that she first sang publicly at the age of 3. Natasha went on to study piano and choreography at music school writing her first songs by age 12 and later studying vocal performance at the Kiev State School of Circus Arts.

Natasha Koroleva has topped CIS charts for several years
With the stage fast becoming her natural habitat and a succession of music prizes to her name, it wasn’t long before the talented and devastatingly beautiful star captured the attention of composers and songwriters throughout the CIS.

In 1990 Natasha Koroleva gained international success with her first smash single ‘Yellow Tulips’ with momentum that resulted in a successful duet with songwriter Igor Nikolaev. A sequence of hit albums including ‘Dolphin and Mermaid’ were followed with tours in the U.S., UK, Germany and Israel.

The foxy Gemini is now firmly established as a leading solo artist with a succession of world tours behind her and over eight albums to her credit including the highly acclaimed Confetti and Fragments of the Past.

The captivating brunette commands massive attention and will launch her new show ‘Love without Rules’ with three sold out play dates in February 2010 at Moscow’s Operetta Theater.
