Too hot for anyone’s own good, superbly proportioned blonde sex bomb Inga Drozdova isn’t the first Soviet bloc import to undress for Playboy. The demise of the Soviet system opened the flood gates to the West, and with this came a rush of Eastern beauties eager to strut their stuff before Hugh Hefner’s lenses.

Starting with Ukraine born Victoria Zdrok, Playboy photographers enjoyed field days with such rare and special discoveries as Anka Romensky, Natalia Sokolova and Dasha Astafieva. Nevertheless, Inga Drozdova is without a doubt high on everyone’s list of post-cold war favorites.

Born December of 1975 in Riga, capitol of the former Soviet satellite republic of Latvia, Inga Drozdova was a teen beauty queen, model and local chanteuse before relocating to Moscow in 1992. There Inga enrolled at prestigious Moscow State University where she majored in finance and business law, and undoubtedly wowed her professors. “My grades were nearly perfect. But then, I’m a perfectionist,” she says. Perfection has been her password ever since.

Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in November, 1997, crazy hot Inga has the
distinction of being the sole Latvian woman to become a Playboy centerfold joining Hef’s harem of hot Russian women and spectacular Ukrainian girls. Inga also posed for Playboy’s Russian edition adding to her Playmate feature pictorials in 10 Playboy international editions.

Drozdova went on to pose for 4 Playboy covers, numerous special editions and Playboy videos paving her way as a successful model throughout Europe and America.

The voluptuous Ms. Drozdova was also a pop star in Russia before coming to America.

Referring to her adolescence in Soviet Latvia, Inga quipped “I like the new way. I want to be a singer, an actress, a sexual woman and a businesswoman,” she says in her centerfold interview ‘From Moscow with Love’, Playboy, November 1997.

In 1998, Inga Drozdova was dubbed the first sex symbol of Russia by the Russian edition of Playboy.
